Live and diverse crowds visiting Silklab's stand.
Tufts Community Day gave me an opportunity to showcase our research as part of an energetic team to the general public, with demos and activities such as silk extraction, cocoon decoration, color changing garment, levitating magnets and more!

MIT museum regularly organizes outreach activities such as Cambridge Science Festival and topical panels & live demos.  Curious crowds bring new perspectives to our research and often we get unexpected questions!

August 8, 2024, MIT Museum After Dark, "a lively evening of entertainment, science, and tinkering for the 21+ crowd". With the theme Color, I showcased natural structural color and dazzling optical patterns made from naturally-derived biomaterials.
